As long as you're talking about the cross of Jesus Christ, you're talking about a power
that can make all things new - including you.
As we all know, it is sin that separates us from the Almighty God, our Creator. Romans
3:23 teaches us that all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. Then verse 24
tells us we can be freely justified by God's grace through redemption that came by Jesus
Christ, His son. God sent Jesus unto man to become an atonement for the sin of man. He has
shown us how to live perfectly. He was crucified on the cross and died and was raised up
again to life three days later - as was prophesied. He now sits at the right hand of the
Father and has sent the Holy Spirit to all of us who believe in Him (Jesus). Romans 10:9
teaches us that if we confess with our mouths Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that
God has raised Him from the dead, we will be saved! Romans 6:23 teaches us the wages of
sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus Our Lord. 2Cor. 5:17
tells us when we come to Christ we become a new creation, the old is gone, the new has
come.
If you have never met Jesus or asked Him to be the Lord of your life, it's really easy. He
is as close as the mention of His name. If you wish to be reconciled to God, just believe
and say aloud, "Forgive me Father, I am a sinner. I know the ways of this world lead
to death and I know you have made a better way. I believe that Jesus was your only son who
you sent to die as a sacrifice for my sin. It was my debt He paid on the cross. Jesus send
me your Spirit so that we could be "one" with the Father forever in your Holy
Name.
I repent of my sin in Jesus' name, Lord. Change my heart and make me new. Amen."
Now, if you have said this prayer, go tell someone at your local Christian Church because
God is waiting and wanting to do even bigger things in your life. Remember to read your
Bible and always pray. From here God will show you the way. (John 14:6) Jesus answered,
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through
me."
